A really short demo showing how polarized light is used in LCD monitors and can be used to check materials for stress. To better explain the monitors application, the light emitted through the polarizer interacts with the liquid crystal in such a way that it ‘bends’ light to show specific colours.
This seems to be true of laptops, but I was wondering if the same also applied to desktops that still use CRT monitors (or LCDs for that matter).

I have 3 monitors set up all next to each other in a row. With one monitor I could use it to set up documents side by side on a single monitor, can I still do that or do I have to put them on different monitors?
