I’ve got an OmniView 2-Port KVM Switch that says it controls two DVI/USB computers from one USB keyboard and mouse, and one DVI monitor. The problem is I’ve only got regular VGA monitors, not DVI. Can I still use this switch with some kind of adapter? If so, how many adapters do I need?

Our TV just broke, it lasted for quite a bit, and was a flat screen. (not a LCD or plasma). Anyway, now my dad wants to know whether any computer monitors could be used as a TV. Like just using the usual plug into the wall cable…or do we have to buy something extra.
